Al Rojo Villa might just be the best hidden restaurant in all of SMA. Food (steaks, hamburgesa) is always perfect and the old colonial setting puts the meal over the top. Come early to walk the hacienda grounds

This place has great burgers but for me what makes it a fantastic place to eat is the vibe. Your're only a few minutes away from San Miguel but you really feel in the country out here. I really like the atmosphere. I definitely will come here often.

This is an absolute hidden gem..my wife found this place and it is the best place we have been to this month in San Miguel. It’s not downtown and not a rooftop, but if you like grilled food on a legit wood fire grill, you will love it. About a ten to fifteen minute drive from downtown, or a 150 pesos Uber ride. It is totally worth it. The grounds are beautiful. Service, food and margaritas are all amazing.
